Murder Game or Murder Dinner?
Perhaps you've heard of it - a murder dinner. It's an evening of dining with colleagues or friends where a supposed murder takes place, and between courses, guests must solve the murder. With a glass of wine or beer, this generally leads to hilarious scenes. However, a murder dinner is not the same as a murder game by Inspective, but what exactly is the difference? The short answer is: realism. While a murder dinner revolves around a pleasant evening of eating with a fun game, a murder game is about getting immersed in an exciting story where you unravel a mystery. Of course, a murder game can also take place during a dinner. However, our experience is that participants don't want to take a break to eat. They prefer to occasionally take a bite during the game as they get closer to unmasking a murderer.
Every element in a murder game is realistic, making it almost strange to call it a game. It is so realistic that even adults occasionally forget that it is a murder game. The detective guiding the murder game remotely regularly receives urgent messages from players, such as discovering a new clue or finding the location of the murderer's hideout.
Companies encountered by players during the murder investigation seem to genuinely exist. There is also a website available, and an email can be sent to the company. Through the online crime database, suspects can be found, license plates can be looked up, and security camera videos can be viewed. When participants come across a location where the suspect is likely hiding, they can use Google Maps to calculate the possible escape route of the suspect. This location actually exists.
Everything within a murder game is realistic and very true to life. This makes playing a murder game at home or at any desired location a completely different experience than a murder dinner.
